Kids parties in Dubai come in two shapes. There is the villa party in Arabian Ranches, The Springs, Jumeirah or Mirdif, with a garden, a gate for the entertainers and room for something big. And there is the apartment party in Marina, JLT, Downtown or JVC, where the living room is the venue, the service lift needs booking and the neighbours are close. The right activity depends on which one you're throwing, how old the children are, and whether it's December or July.
We book kids entertainers across Dubai every week, so this list is built from what families actually ask for and what works on the day. Every activity below is available in Dubai, with the real price and what's included. Celebrating in the capital instead? We have a separate Abu Dhabi kids activities guide.
The 12 Best Kids Party Activities in Dubai
1. Bouncing Castle for the Villa Garden
This is the booking that makes a villa party. The bouncing castle (AED 799) has a 12 by 12 foot floor, stands 16 feet tall and comes with a coordinator for three hours. It suits ages 2 to 10. You need flat ground, a power socket within reach and nothing overhead, which rules out balconies but suits gardens in Arabian Ranches, Damac Hills, The Springs, Mirdif and Jumeirah. From November to March it can stay outside all afternoon.
2. A Magician, Alone or as a Combo
A magician is the most requested kids entertainer in Dubai, and for good reason: one performer holds twenty children in one spot for the length of the show. The magic show (AED 950) runs 35 to 40 minutes, which is the right length for ages 4 to 10. If you want the magician to carry the whole party, the magician combo (AED 1,099) gives you one artist for two hours of magic, balloon twisting and hosting, with a portable speaker included. Our magician in Dubai page explains how a show is run, and our magician booking guide covers ages, show vs combo and room setup.
3. Bubble Show for the Little Ones
For ages 2 to 6, nothing beats bubbles. A 40-minute bubble show (AED 999) needs only a few square metres of floor, so it works in a Marina or JLT apartment as well as a garden. Toddlers who find mascots frightening are completely at ease with it. For a longer party, the bubble show and balloon sculptor combo (AED 1,099) covers two hours.
4. Face Painter and Tattoo Artist
Put a face painter (AED 799) where the guests arrive and the first half hour takes care of itself. The artist gets through 30 to 35 designs in an hour: butterflies, superheroes, princesses, dragons, rainbows. For a longer party, a tattoo artist (AED 799) works for two hours with temporary designs that survive the pool. Our art stations guide covers face painting, tattoos, nail art and braiding in depth.
5. Cartoon Mascot at Cake Time
A life-size character walking in just before the cake is the moment the videos get taken. The cartoon mascot (AED 799 per hour) can be Mickey, Minnie, Doraemon, a Minion, Hulk or Tom and Jerry depending on availability, so tell us the favourite when you book. It's best for ages 4 to 6. Children under three often cry at a giant character, so for a toddler party pick the bubble show instead. Planning a first birthday? Our 1st birthday party ideas guide covers what works for one-year-olds.
6. Balloon Sculptor
A balloon sculptor (AED 799) twists 40 to 50 models in two hours, animals, swords, flowers and hats, from around 100 balloons they bring themselves. Every child goes home holding something, so it doubles as the return gift.
7. Art and Craft, or Pottery
For apartment parties, a seated activity keeps the noise down. The art and craft artist (AED 799) brings all the material and keeps up to 20 children busy for three hours. Pottery (AED 950) is the same idea for a slightly older group: a potter guides 20 to 25 pieces over three hours, and they go home as keepsakes.
8. Party Anchor or Games Host
Big guest list, mixed ages, lots of adults? A party anchor (AED 799) runs the whole flow for two and a half hours, arrivals, games, the cake and the goodbyes, in English and a local language on request. If you only need the games, the games host (AED 799) runs 45 minutes to an hour of passing the parcel, tug of war, paper dance and find-the-item.
9. Science Show for Ages 6 to 12
The science show (AED 1,799) is the one that gets talked about at school on Monday. A presenter runs 40 minutes of experiments with smoke, colour changes and reactions, and brings every prop. It needs a table, a power point and a little space at the front of the room.
10. Balloon Shooting Game or Trampoline
Older kids want competition. The balloon shooting game (AED 999) sets up a counter of 50 to 70 balloons with guns and a coordinator for two hours. The 8-foot trampoline (AED 1,099) comes with a safety net and a coordinator for two hours. Both are garden activities for the cooler months and suit villas in Jumeirah Park, The Meadows or Al Barsha.
11. Cotton Candy or Chocolate Fountain Counter
A live counter is entertainment and dessert in one. The cotton candy counter (AED 1,099) serves 100 fresh candies over three hours with a coordinator. The chocolate fountain (AED 799) dips 100 servings over two hours, with gloves, paper cups and eco-friendly sticks. Children queue for both all afternoon.
12. Photobooth Combo or a Party Photographer
Someone has to take the pictures, and it shouldn't be you. A kids party photographer (AED 949) shoots for one and a half to two hours with unlimited photos and two or three short videos. The photobooth combo (AED 1,799) gives you a photobooth plus a magician, balloon sculptor and anchor for two hours.

Booking Kids Entertainers in Dubai: What to Know
Weekend evenings go first. Friday and Saturday slots between 4 pm and 7 pm are the busiest of the week. Same-day is sometimes possible on weekdays, but give a full day's notice, and a week for a weekend in the cooler months.
Towers need a little admin. For Marina, JLT, Downtown and Business Bay buildings, register the entertainer with security the day before, book the service lift if there is equipment, and share the parking details. Time lost in the lobby is time off your show.
Villas need a gate contact. Gated communities such as Arabian Ranches and Jumeirah Park ask for the visitor's name, so share the villa number and the phone of someone who will be home.
Summer moves everything indoors. From May to September, plan for air conditioning. Every activity on this list works indoors except the bouncing castle, the trampoline, the shooting game and the fire show, which need a garden, a hall or a clubhouse.
Give performers a stage. A magician or science presenter needs a clear patch of about three metres square at the front of the room. The bubble show needs a small clear floor. Art and craft needs a table for every six to eight children.
Plan the decoration with the activity. Most parties need a theme wall for the photos as well as something for the children to do. Our home birthday decoration guide covers the setup side, the themes kids are asking for this year helps you pick a look, and our budget party guide shows how to plan both without overspending. For the full catalogue of entertainers by age, see our UAE kids entertainers guide, and our kids party entertainer price guide lists every price with what's included and what isn't.

The Short Version
Let the venue and the age choose the activity. A castle or trampoline for a villa garden in the cooler months, a magician or science show for a room full of five to ten year olds, bubbles and face painting for toddlers and apartments, and a mascot or a candy counter to make the moment. Book a day ahead at least, a week ahead for weekends, and send us the area, the date, the ages and the number of children. We'll put the line-up together.
Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers before you book.
Which areas of Dubai do you cover for kids party activities?
All of Dubai, including Arabian Ranches, Damac Hills, The Springs, The Meadows, Jumeirah, Jumeirah Park, Al Barsha, Mirdif, JVC, Dubai Marina, JLT, Downtown, Business Bay, Dubai Hills and Dubai South. Tell us the community when you book.
How much do kids party entertainers cost in Dubai?
Most single activities are AED 799, including the bouncing castle, face painter, mascot, balloon sculptor, art and craft and party anchor. The magic show is AED 950, the bubble show and shooting game are AED 999, the two-hour combos run from AED 1,099 to AED 1,799, and the science show is AED 1,799.
How far in advance should I book?
A full day ahead is the comfortable minimum. Weekend evening slots in the cooler months go a week or more ahead. Same-day bookings are sometimes possible on weekdays, so it's always worth asking.
Which activities work in a Dubai apartment?
The bubble show, magic show, face painter, tattoo artist, balloon sculptor, art and craft, puppet show, party anchor and science show all work in a living room. The bouncing castle, trampoline and shooting game need a garden, hall or clubhouse.
Can I book activities in summer?
Yes. From May to September we run everything indoors with air conditioning. Only the castle, trampoline, shooting game and fire show need outdoor space, so in summer book those in a community hall or clubhouse.
What age is a magician best for?
Ages 4 to 10 get the most out of a magic show. Under fours are better with a bubble show, and over tens usually prefer the science show or the balloon shooting game.
Can I book decoration and activities together?
Yes. Tell us at booking and we plan the decoration setup and the entertainers for the same party, so timings and the space work together.
