At BalloonDekor, we are committed to delivering decoration services that meet the highest standards of quality, creativity, and professionalism. We understand that circumstances can change and that occasionally a service may not meet expectations. This Return & Refund Policy has been designed to be fair, transparent, and easy to understand so that every customer knows exactly what to expect when they book with us. By confirming a booking with BalloonDekor, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

Nature of Our Services

BalloonDekor provides custom, on-site balloon decoration services. Unlike physical retail products, our services involve perishable materials, skilled labour, logistical planning, and venue-specific execution. Once materials have been sourced, prepared, and setup has commenced or been completed, the associated costs cannot be recovered. This is an important consideration when reviewing our refund terms, as our policy reflects the operational reality of a service-based business rather than a product return scenario.

Eligible Refund Situations

BalloonDekor will issue a full refund in the following circumstances. If we are unable to fulfil your confirmed booking due to reasons within our control, such as team unavailability, a logistical failure on our part, or a significant error in our booking management, you will be entitled to a complete refund of all amounts paid. If the decoration delivered is substantially and materially different from what was agreed during the booking process, and this difference is attributable to an error on our part rather than a natural variation in handcrafted work, we will investigate the matter and offer an appropriate resolution including a partial or full refund where warranted. If your booking is cancelled within the eligible cancellation window as defined in our Cancellation Policy, your advance payment will be refunded in accordance with those terms.

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances. If the decoration setup has been completed as agreed and the customer is dissatisfied purely on the basis of personal preference or a change of mind after setup is complete. If minor aesthetic variations exist between the reference images shared during booking and the final setup, as handcrafted balloon decoration is inherently subject to natural variation in colour tone, balloon size, and arrangement style. If the booking is cancelled less than 12 hours before the scheduled setup time or after our team has already departed for the venue. If the setup could not be completed or was delayed due to reasons outside our control, including incorrect address details, denied venue access, unavailability of the customer or recipient, or building restrictions that were not communicated to us in advance. If the customer requests changes to the agreed setup on the day of the event that fall outside the original scope and the result does not meet revised expectations.

Partial Refunds

In cases where a service was partially delivered or where a cancellation falls within the 12 to 24 hour window before the scheduled setup, BalloonDekor may at its discretion offer a partial refund reflecting the proportion of costs not yet incurred. The amount of any partial refund will be communicated clearly and promptly, along with a brief explanation of how it was calculated.

How to Raise a Refund Request

If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact us within 24 hours of your scheduled setup time. Provide your booking reference, a description of the issue, and photographic or video evidence where applicable. Our team will review your request and respond within two business days with our assessment and proposed resolution. Refund requests submitted after 24 hours of the event may not be considered.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method used at the time of booking. Please allow 7 to 14 business days for the refund to reflect in your account depending on your bank or payment provider. BalloonDekor does not charge any administrative fee for processing approved refunds.
